Yes, a lot of what I write I hope will be of use to someone out there, even if I doubt it's going to make any impact on the person I'm saying it to.

I am no fan of "what is the use" or "who are they bothering". Challenge of any religion is not a call to end it by force. But if you don't do it, bad ideas can grow like weeds, so at a minimum you do it too keep religion from becoming abusive. Sometimes you get lucky and the light bulb goes off and someone gets freed from their mental shackles.
