There's just too many variables to say that if these guys were black they would definitely be dead by now, and I agree with captainawesome that it's a pretty insane thing that you just want these guys to be shot dead rather than to be allowed to carry on breaking the law.
There's no nuances in the arguments presented and it seems pretty primitive to me, these white guys did everything wrong, can't be sympathised with even slightly and the government should kill them.
Contrast this to the Michael Brown case, he goes into a shop threatens people with violence, steals, gets violent with a police officer, it's claimed he went for the officers gun and gets shot, then the same people who say these white people should be shot dead for violating the law will say that this guy didn't deserve to be shot dead.
I definitely don't agree with what the people from the Bundy ranch are doing from the information I can gather about what's going on. But there seems to be a strange amount of enthusiasm for them to be shot dead, as if anyone on this forum cares deeply and emotionally about this wildlife refuge in the middle of nowhere , and all of a sudden there seems to be a great deal of sympathy for the American government in relation to this particular event, the rest of the time people are complaining America is too violent, uses guns and military power to readily, but in this case it's some Mormon white guys who are pissing the government so the answer is kill em all.
Even if you disagree with what they are protesting or the way they're doing it do you not see it as a good thing that it's not a Waco style shootout with people dying and that at the moment some sort of diplomacy is being used?

Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.
Impersonation is treason.
