I can understand his confusion. If he thinks stereotyping should be ignored then he should vote for "should not be challenged" or "Meh,Evie is best turtle"(If you like Evie xD) , you can easily edit you vote, I think.
My problem is that (1) the distinction you're drawing is unclear and (2) you have not specified what the question was supposed to mean and are now arguing against points people aren't making. I still stand by my earlier comment that ignoring and challenging stereotypes are not mutually exclusive and your poll options don't include the difference you're drawing between them in any case.
