I wouldn't consider refraining from starring at other people to be "suppressing how your sexuality works." I consider it normal human decency. But then again, you're the person who said rape victims deserve part of the blame for the rape, so perhaps I shouldn't bother.
Very good. You're shaming tactics are admirable, I hope to learn from you one day.
Just so we are clear, I said that the rape victim of that case deserved part of the blame because of her irresponsibility. Then again, this line of discussion is reserved for that thread, not this, I wouldn't want to derail this thread just because you're tempting me to, and then have you cry "trooooooll" when I do.
I wasn't trying to shame you or tempt you into anything. Just keeping things in perspective. I actually think the talk regarding women's dress and men's disrespect is very much tied into the whole rape blame thing. It's kind of the same principles.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."
