A tummy is term meaning part of the digestive system, it is another way of saying stomach. The digestive system is not a good place to keep a fetus so they tend to grow in the females reproductive organs, the womb. We did this at school when I was 11 but I realise that parts of America are quite backwards when it comes to, well everything actually so your lack of education is probably not your fault.
