I think it is a arena that is currently overrun with quacks, but desperately needs some skeptical inquiry but honest inquiry because some of the reports are too credible to just chuck out. What interests me most is when pilots come out with these reports, especially those in the military and or with radio transcripts and radar data. Incidents like that are rare, but I know there are few, including one that is on Canadian government records on UFOs. However the disclosure project is still a little hard for me to swallow.
I agree, the disclosure project information presented is pretty far out there. I think what it really comes down to is people really want to believe their government is telling them the truth, and that with such a big government of people on both sides of the political spectrum, something would leak out, and the media would gobble it up immediately to get the big story to share with the public. That's what I used to think when I was younger, but the more you research the military at least, it's actually pretty easy to keep the media silent, because it would be going against national security. I don't want to reveal anything classified, even if I had that information. Disclosure project is interesting especially the press conference.
The general population would be the last to know, that's a garuntee. They always classify the encounters and bring in scientists to study them, but it never goes public. When it does it's from testimony, but people on this board are waiting for the government to say so. Even then the government could lie. One of big reasons would be to create a threat to the whole world, which would unite the people of the world in a common cause so we would no longer worry about our differences such as nations or religion.
Even ex head of the CIA George HW Bush a few months ago when asked about UFOs at a recent event for Jeb Bush running for president responded that "the American people can't handle the truth". It's not the only time hes responded to questions like that, normally he says he can't talk about classified information.
If you prefer not to be on the cutting edge and risk researching possible incorrect information or even misinformation, you can wait for the government which you trust so much to tell you what to believe. What's interesting is all the people in this video worked for the government at very high levels, but everyone says they are liars. Probably because they think the individual can lie, but the government as a collective wouldn't lie and couldn't get away with it, because we would find out. Problem is who would you find out from? More government whistleblowers who you think are liars?
