The point is, if we are going to honor our war hero's and have politicians designate special days after specific people, it would be better to chose a more honorable veteran, not just the one who racked up the most kills (and enjoyed doing it).
Quality over quantity. Moral fiber over boastful bravado. By his own accounting this man is a liar and a racist at best, and possibly much worse. Why glorify this douche when there are surely real war heroes they could make a movie about or name a day after?
