The Bantry McGawdzillas or the Kanturk ones? But in all seriousness West Cork was a hell hole for protestants during the War of Independence, and especially in the Civil War afterwards. It had more than its fair share of psychos taking part.
PS not that protestants were treated well everywhere else, they quite often weren't, unless they were known supporters of the IRA and Sinn Fein. But West Cork was baaaaaaaad.
