Personal experience is fine (although face palm worthy) when used as a defense of one's own supernatural beliefs. But when you expect someone else to believe also, based on your anecdotes, you may as well sprinkle flour around and claim it's fairy dust.

I remembered this one, which I even did a video about a while back:
