Nature would thin you out, then.   

I was taught that coyotes rarely travel in groups, solo or mated pairs. I'll have to tell my naturalist teachers they were wrong. 

You -- and your teachers, apparently -- should hear them gather here, then. It's a nightly occurrence during the summer and fall.

As for "potshots", if you have nothing more to complain about than my posting style I deem you a happy man.

Well, I prefer substance to vapidity myself, but hey, if it makes you happy, keep on keepin' on.
