(This post was last modified: February 18, 2016 at 10:46 pm by God of Mr. Hanky.)
The Live Free Or Die! State (NH) has a 2014 murder rate of 223.2/100,000 residents.
Neighboring MA is one of the most heavily gun-regulated States in the Union, with 406.4 murders/100,000 residents.
Texas is notoriously lessaiz - faire on guns, and its murder rate of 410.3/100,000 residents isn't much better than MA.
Therefore, the effectiveness of gun regulations in reducing murder rates is zero sum, and accidental gun deaths are negligible to warrent any legal measure beyond safe storage and mandated training.
