Kit- She's in my lap when I'm on the comp more times than not. She's just evil, I swear. This is the same cat who I thought was having a seizure one day, but it turned out she had somehow eaten a bag of magic mushrooms. Took her to the vet, made sure she was ok, and the next day she went back for more.

No, she is not evil. Maybe her behaviors you are not used to, but it still is your responsibility to keep things out of reach if you don't want the cat to get into those things.
My mom's cat is paranoid of strangers and men, it has never gotten used to me. But my cat loves me and we are best buddies. He's gotten into things too, cost me a trip to the vet an x rays to find out he had not swallowed a plastic milk bottle tab. But just yesterday he puked up a twig I must have drug in on my shoe when I came into the house.
I'm sure you still love your cat regardless.
Brian, I know you mean well, but your sense of humor could use a little boost. In case you were really worried about it, yes, I love my cat.
