By the way, just for the record, the scenario I posted completely appalls me.
But I just wanted to learn more about the evidence that other world views provide to support their case.
Of course, such individuals are full of life, and they have so much that they can add to my life, so much and inspiration that they can bring to a World that is so full of suffering. Besides, the next breakthrough might be in someone's lab right now, and they are simply finishing-up their research. Some animals can regrow lost limbs, which, eventually, science will figure out to do with humans.
