Free will as described by most people is an incomprehensible idea that bears no known relationship to reality. Just like God. Inasmuch as it does make sense, it actually describes something else then you would expect it to, something trivial - such as the mere fact that an individual is a complex system that behaves in a particular way and that it is distinct from other similar entities.
