Right. Nor should we, as amateur historians, expect Jesus to have anything that matches that of a person like Socrates, which makes what we do have about Jesus all the more impressive.

The sum total of our accepted knowledge of a historical Jesus:

There is exactly zero independent evidence for the existence of Jesus or any of his supposed acts. The bible itself cannit be taken as evidence, because a) it was at best written as a compilation of third hand hearsay and b) it has been altered so often and so thoroughly over the intervening 1700 years that we cannot even be sure what is hearsay and what is outright fabrication.
