Anyone who thinks that women are "oppressed" in western society is wrong. Likewise, anyone who thinks that men are "oppressed" in western society is also wrong.
Western society doesn't oppress either gender in any kind of general sense anymore, however if you look at specifics, there are hundreds, if not thousands of inequalities that affect both sides.
Women and men are not treated equally in many aspects of life in western countries. This includes instances where women are treated preferentially to men, as well as instances where men are treated preferentially to women.
