Yeah, I missed that part of the Constitution that says "in the event of a close election, the Supreme Court has the power to stop a recount and simply appoint a President for the sake of expediency."
My home state is Kentucky, which is permanently painted red on those newsroom election maps. Consequently, my vote doesn't count, thanks to the winner-take-all electoral college system. My vote doesn't count in the primary election either, since Kentucky goes so late that it's a done-deal by the time it reaches us. Consequently, I'm going to vote 3rd party. If enough solid-red-state progressive voters go 3rd party, we can always hope it sends a message. Hey, it could happen.
