Most overrated game?

Dishonored.

I liked Dishonored for it's overall vibe, but the plot was pretty dumb.

"Let's use the guy who was framed for The Empress' murder (and thus already used as merely a tool by corrupt government officials) to stage a second coup, and then try to kill him ourselves.  The same guy who already was a feared warrior, who escaped our maximum security prison by himself, is now wearing a scary murder suit with various deadly tools and gadgets, and apparently has magic powers since he's teleporting himself all around our base of operations.  What could possibly go wrong?"

I quite enjoyed the gameplay in and of itself, but the setting, characters and shit you actually ended up doing were all so bland I'd have rather watched paint dry.

It's like it was trying too hard to be interesting and edgy but just ended up being boring.
