I'm not really concerned about this. Other than holding out a false hope to desperately ill people (neither amygdalin nor its ugly cousin laetrile is going to cure anyone's cancer), people aren't really likely to be able to ingest enough peach pits or apricot kernels to do themselves any harm - you'd need to eat about a kilo at one go before the cyanide carries you off, and you're likely to vomit before you ever get to that point. The dose makes the poison.
