Genesis 4 verse 1 seems to think that Adam was Cain's father.

Adam made love to his wife Eve, and she became pregnant and gave birth to Cain. She said, “With the help of the Lord I have brought forth a man.”
She was impregnated by two different seeds and had one child?

Ok, fair enough.

This version is much more interesting than the version I was taught.
