The equations involving time solves in such a way that relative rate of passage of time can be changed by changing other quantities over which we have definite control, like relative velocity. The validity of these equation has been experiementally verified. So not only does math say tIme can be controlled, we've actually proven the concept, in a relatively minor scale.
