On the contrary, "my legs" has everything to do with the brain's capacity to identify to them as such.

Oh boy, the frame shift is so compelling!   People who describe experiencing phantom limbs still can't open a coke can with their severed hands....but I'll be sure to tell all the fellas at the VA that a buddhist told me that their condition had everything to do with their brains capacity to identify it as such - or some such faux enlightened garbage.
