Shooting someone in the head could be a far "milder" form of murder than hours of torture and a long drawn-out death. To be honest I don't really care, they would both still be murder and are both terribly wrong. The fact that Dawkins even puts molestation in the same breath as religious teaching is sickening.
You made it a game of semantics by misinterpreting a writer. Whether you care that some crimes are milder than others is moot. Not one single person has argued that "mild" molestation is somehow okay because it is mild. In fact, I pointed out that I abhor all forms of molestation, just to avoid this seemingly inevitable strawman. You hit me with it anyway.
Your initial objection was that he (Dawkins) called molestation mild. Now, you're pissed that he compared molestation to religious teaching. Admit it, you are fishing for something to be pissed about. When you realized your interpretation was wrong, your false sense of righteous indignation led you to find something else to whet your appetite for Dawkins bashing. Frankly, I do not give a fuck about what Dawkins said, but you seem to be mildly obsessed with the man. Get the fuck over it and realize that atheists are not Dawkinists.
Oh, and just so you know, a Muppet is a puppet. Didn't your mommy tell you that?
