It has been a year or so since I began really more deeply about religion. I have always had doubts if any higher powers existed. Since unlike some other people, I just did not sense in their words 'something higher'. Also I believed that religion was probably a human invention. But I was interested in other stuff and gave these things little thought.
However in the past year, I have come pretty convinced that there is a very high probability that any deity, higher power does not exist. Also that there is nothing but natural things, forces, and causes of the kind which can be studied by science. This includes things like religion, spirituality and consciousness.
Not to mention, that I have become very critical of all religion and superstition. Being of the opinion that both are a serious block to improvement of humanity. A year or two ago I would have offended at others saying such opinions. However I am now more extreme than some of them, who just criticise 'organised religion' and yet cling onto certain superstitions.
