She was a bit of a douche in thanking God for saving her kid, and not even saying anything remorseful about that beautiful animal that got shot so her kid could live, but calling her a shitty mom is overkill, IMO.
Why does thanking God make her a douche? She believes in God, so it makes sense that she would mention Him. How does this make her a douche??
Did she give a shout-out to the team that saved her child's life? If so, not a douche.
