Because if there were a god, could it not have told the gorilla to leave the kid alone? Or kept the kid from falling into the pit in the first place? Instead, the poor caged gorilla was killed. So, "Thank god the gorilla was killed and I can continue to be an idiot"?
So basically you're saying believing in God makes someone a douche.
