When you dream you see an image of something but that image is the fruit of your imagination and therefore is part and parcel of you.
Tempted to use one of your headbanging gifs LOL ....
Blocks of text won't hide that you are not answering my question ..... "If we are an image of God why do we not know everything he knows ...."
A dream is an image yes and yes it comes from our imagination .... but it is not an image of everything but just parts of what we know ... and does not come from God as your Bible claims ...
If our dream image was an image of everything I know it would know everything I know ...
Again I will give you a hint .... an image can be the whole or a part .... your bible claims we are an image of God, not a part of God ...
My bible?
When I ever said that dog?
Some of the things in the bible make sense other do not so I have no choice but to take only what make sense but let us deal with your confusion.
When you dream you only use part of your total energy-consciousness so you are not fully aware.
Full awareness only come when you do not dream or are in a slumber mental stage.
This create universe is therefore a reflexion of part of the whole consciousness of God because God originally energy-consciousness get less and less aware when imagine this cosmic game of creation.
How can we be 100% aware of God when this God' creation is not made of 100% God consciousness?
The image of God relate to our inner consciousness.
This is like a seed.
When the seed find a good soil to sprout then it will give birth to the original plant from which it originated.
In that plant there is the image of God but in the seed you can not see such an imagine.
Similarly you are a perfect image of God but to understand that you are you got to let the seed to sprout and become a plant.
The pineal gland according to yoga is the seed or the third eye which reflex the image of God.
