Stating the obvious does not mean you know HOW it works. Those ambiguous quotes are not scientific explanations one bit. 

A 5 year old can point to the sun today, but not know what it is made of. The people that wrote the Quran were as scientifically ignorant as the people that wrote the Jewish OT and Bible.
