i'm sick of religion being crammed down our throats and i wonder if any of you guys are too. religion for me should not have to be payed for BY ME when i dont believe a fucking word of it.

I am a bit concerned about the BBC airing pious apologetics dressed up as a serious historical documentary. Because is it far from certain Jesus of Nazareth actually existed, given the little evidence we have apart from the New Testament. A lot of other figures in ancient history we have a lot more evidence for, than we have for Jesus of Nazareth.

Mind you this is not the first time they did this, Jeremy Bowen hosted a series on Jesus for the BBC a few years and I cringed even then.
