At no time did I actually "believe" in any god. At the beginning, I accepted as plausible the proposition of the existence of some god, although the specific manefestations as was claimed by each religion that I was exposed to appeareed to me not only like superstition, but appeared like particularly forms of superstition that required rather severe intellectual laziness and psychologicial maladjustement to embrace. Later, I found that the god hypothesis is entirely a distraction, and is in fact without any reason for existence other than condoning those ssame intellectual laziness and severe psychologicial maladjustement.
In short, I cast aside the god hypothesis not because it has too many flaws, which it does, but because it is totally devoid of any genuine virtues.
