Here's why:
Men have always been in control of sexuality of both sexes until recently. Men determined what was and was not sexually arousing and what was and was not acceptable for public view. Women's opinions were not even considered and neither were their desires.
Now women are supposed to be equal and we are supposed to in control of our own sexuality and be treated equally and here we are saying it's acceptable for men to still determine what is sexual and what is not by saying "men want to see women's breast as sexual so therefore they must be banned. But men don't see other men's breasts as sexual so that okay to see them. That is wrong.
I am not talking about law that restricts, I know what the law allows and what it doesn't (though this bs has been challenged in court and won for women to mow topless some years ago) what I am asking is for the forum to say "we realize the legal question is or may not be fair in it's allowances so we will be fair in our restrictions. That is the point I want to make.
Thanks for the response.
Men have never determined what is or isn't sexually arousing.
Legally speaking, I think they have, actually.
