Yes, the fault was probably mine, I've never encountered a situation like that and I didn't know how to react. And I do not know if it posed any risks or not, I guess I took the safer way? :p But he was really shady, alright. Although I didn't shake hands I did continue the conversation, he asked me what music I liked, I responded and asked him etc etc. If I remember correctly he likes jazz or something.
I understand, if I think about it from his perspective it probably isn't fun to get turned down like that, but I didn't know what to do, if it was safe and such. I guess I'm just paranoid.
