I have awesome friends with hot tubs.

We're finally replacing our kaput hot tup.  I've been taking compacted gravel out with a pick and shovel the last two days.  I've put the form in and gotten the depth for the pour to the correct depth.  Tomorrow I'll go get a half yard of concrete.  Today, I'm just reworking the pavers in the area around it and cleaning up.

The one we got has an option for a cover holder that works like this one but I decided I wanted a deck shelf on two sides while holding the tub up to the fence on the other.  So I plan to have the cover lean up against the house on one of those deck shelves.  I'll get you a photo when it's in.

The old one was round and I surrounded it with a deck which I had to demo before I could prep for the new concrete pad.



Hmmm .. can't seem to find a better photo to show the tub.  Here is a selfie my beard took with my old dog Fletcher on the deck around the hot tub.
