One less religous fraudster

RE: One less religous fraudster

I began to smell an exceedingly large and dead ratus ratus when I read (in 'TIME" from memory, over 20 years ago):

The revered guru habitually produced objects from thin air, apparently not an uncommon skill amongst India's living saints.
By pure serendipity, wealthy devotees received things such as gold watches and bracelets, whilst poor devotees invariably received flowers.

James Randi has had some interesting things to say on the matter. Below an interview of Randi by Ajita Kamal, Indian debunker of Hindu frauds, in 2008.
