I think Ham is one of the few that really does believe what he's selling, because when he talks about it, his tone is one of petulant presupposition, than carefully curated apologetics. Put simply, I think a salesman would put more thought into his pitch than Ham does, and since all Ham does is repeat the pitch, over and over, as though the pitch being the pitch should be sufficient for anybody, he probably just believes a dumb thing, instead of selling it to other dumb people.
