Yeah. For C++ I can SSH into my linux box, and for Python stuff, I can work in the Android Python IDE.
Lab stuff I never do on my laptop anyways. I use the lab servers for that stuff.
I use my laptop primarily for:
1) Note Taking
2) Digital version of my textbook
3) Looking Up Shit on the Internet
4) Logging into the eLearn website
All of which I could do on this tablet. If you are a Android Dev, you can install the Beta of Android N (Nougat) which is compatible with Office.
Also: Windows machines have to install software to be allowed access to the University Wifi, and the handshake takes fucking ages. If I close the lid on my laptop or it goes to sleep, it takes forever to connect back to the WiFi. Android devices can directly connect.
