Why, because you struggle to account for your own biases? That video is propaganda, the worst of the worst of cases complied for pure shock factor, to bypass the human ability to deliberate effectively on the issue at hand and instill biases that taint judgement in favor of their position.
It's a dirty trick, no context, no statistics, exactly like showing a compilation of drunken violence and then arguing from that to vilify everyone who drinks. Yeah the animals in that video were poorly treated, but that does not represent more than a small fraction of the industry as a whole.
If you'd called the factory farm owners "cocksuckers" you might have been able to save face, despite showing a propaganda film, but to pass the brunt to [b]everyone[i] who consumers meat is absurd.
Here's a challenge for you - Before you decide to condemn people for eating meat, why don't you provide the basis for your self-righteous moral judgements?
