I was in school when I heard about the twin towers. A class mate ran into the class room saying "the world trade centre's have been hit!". None of us really knew what was going on till we got home and switched on the news.
Even years after that horrible event, when I watch clips of 9/11, I still get chills down my back. To watch people jump out of windows just to escape the smoke and flames. To hear that haunting sound of all the thumps, where people hit the floor. Each thump is a life lost. It is unimaginable what they went through.
It's something that'll make you speechless for months. To watch so many lives lost in such a horrific terrorist attack.
It's simply unthinkable.

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence - Carl Sagan
Mankind's intelligence walks hand in hand with it's stupidity.
Being an atheist says nothing about your overall intelligence, it just means you don't believe in god. Atheists can be as bright as any scientist and as stupid as any creationist.
You never really know just how stupid someone is, until you've argued with them.
