I knew someone would add that at some point. I was ready for it.
Freewill or not, god designed, created us and knew what would happen. Free will or not. God is still to blame.
Here's my paper plane analogy: I Design and create a paper airplane, I designed it to fly and to reach the table on the other side of the room, which is what I want. Being all knowing, I know it will. Now if I gave it a mind of it's own and it went against my wishes and flew else where, being all knowing, I knew it would, but I went ahead with the design and creation. I cannot blame it, I designed it that way, I knew what would happen and I would know why. So to punish it for doing what I designed it to do is faulty logic.
If god designed us to be able to think for ourselves, then that is what's going to happen. We will think, question and may even find our own way. What's the point in being able to use your mind and freedom to go beyond what you are if you'll end up punished for it? It doesn't make any sense.
You wouldn't give your kids an Xbox and then tell them not to use it.
If I created a small RC plane with weapons on it and which could think for itself (decides to use the weapons or not). If it flew off and killed someone, who would you blame? Me the designer and creator of that RC or the RC for which was only doing what I gave it the ability to do. Me being all knowing makes it even worse, because if I knew it was going to do that, and yet went ahead with it's construction anyway then yeah, I'm to blame for it.
Personally, if I created mankind and they thought for themselves, went their own way and became independent, I'd be damn proud of them. Never would I punish them for it.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence - Carl Sagan
Mankind's intelligence walks hand in hand with it's stupidity.
Being an atheist says nothing about your overall intelligence, it just means you don't believe in god. Atheists can be as bright as any scientist and as stupid as any creationist.
You never really know just how stupid someone is, until you've argued with them.
