Why do you disagree?

I don't think it is fully understood how imagination and the mind works yet.

Imagination, also called the faculty of imagining, is the ability of forming mental images, sensations and concepts, in a moment when they are not perceived through sight, hearing or other senses. Imagination is the work of the mind that helps create. Imagination helps provide meaning to experience and understanding to knowledge; it is a fundamental facility through which people make sense of the world,[1][2][3] and it also plays a key role in the learning process.[1][4] A basic training for imagination is listening to storytelling (narrative),[1][5] in which the exactness of the chosen words is the fundamental factor to "evoke worlds."[6]

I can learn that P and have acquired the ability to imagine that P. (Learning of 'the fabric of spacetime' gives you the ability to imagine spacetime)

So what if I was to imagine something, then later find out that this thing is true and has been proven or though of already, without prior knowledge of the subject matter. I wouldn't know what the subject matter was called (if konwn), but I would understand what it is, and perhaps how it works.
