My youngest daughter got me to really thinking about Christianity as a whole by asking me: If God was real, why would he have values and views similar to people of 2000 years ago? If God were limiting itself to a period, then why? And more importantly -- why hasn't god provided an update in 2000 years, since the times have in fact changed.
That's when I realized most of it is nothing but fucking bullshit. That's when I stopped identifying as anything more than culturally Christian.
