I see I forgot the important part: I've never been religious. We had a bible at home but nobody went to church so I wasn't indoctrinated with that societal ill. Mom did try, sent me and my brother to Sunday School down the block when I was seven. I was asked to not come back when I asked awkward questions about the Ark story. "Why kill all the kittens? Where did his grandchildren find husbands and wives?" It worked, I got to resume sleeping on Sunday morning.
