I guess with that, a maturing and inquizative heart and mind, and eight months solid of research stemming from the above, turning into a search to find the flaw in Islam to avoid fully embracing it (I feared the reaction of my peers). Obviously, I came to a point where I had no excuse left to not submit to my Creator (I mean, no excuse left on any level - be it logic or faith, in Islam both walk hand in hand), and am very thankful for that.
At the time I said Shahada (or converted to Islam) I had never met a Muslim, nor did I know any Muslims other than online friends I had made in my search. I was also in my final year of highschool, to add some more insight to my story.
Or so is the short story I can give here.
