Man, this thread is bringing back memories. I haven't played in about 22 or so years (I think I was 13 or 14 the last time). We took our characters from the old Curse of the Azure bonds video game. We didn't realize that you weren't supposed to have 18 in every stat, so we were way, way overpowered. That, combined with the magic weapons we also lifted straight from the video game, made our campaigns incredibly epic.
I played two characters:
Ptolemy, paladin (lol) of Tyr, god of justice. He was just your typical sword wielding meat head with some extra holy abilities.
Allune Innsbrooke, mage. Now he was fun. Long, greasy hair. Scruffy beard. Had a habit of taking 'trophies' from every monster he killed because a lot of them could be used in potions and other magical concoctions, so he smelled really bad. Kind of an asshole. Smart but crude/crass. Brought along specifically for his offensive output.
