My personal opinion would be to kill those that bite humans because they do cause some really nasty diseases and for those that fear that will lead to too many humans well then we also need to take off stigma off contraceptives.
Humans are now eradicating elephants, gorillas, rhinos among others because they live above oil fields. I watched few years ago documentary called "Virunga" where some oil guy is telling "Why shouldn't we kill off gorillas? They're just stupid monkeys."
And yet when it comes to question of eradicating mosquitoes there is sudden pour of humanity over them. So I will make an angry remark: maybe somebody is just making too much money on their existence (like perhaps Bill Gates).

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
