I support the Kurds 100%. Probably the only group left in the ME worth supporting (or who haven't been entirely genocided).

The Turks won't though.  Syria is out of action as a regional force for a generation.  Iraq will probably not survive as a viable nation.  Who's left?

The idealist in me tells me to give two fingers to Turkey and go full hog in supporting Kurdistan. The realist in me though tells me that won't happen, at least not while the PPK are bombing Turks and Erdogan is on the path to totalitarianism. A full blown diplomatic fall out with Turkey will either strengthen Erdogan on a nationalist ticket, or weaken him as both secularists and supporters realise what it's truly like to be in the diplomatic wasteland.
