All I see is a book that people CLAIM is what you say it is.
The fact is, that the Bible is not evidence for the claim, it is the claim.

And don't get me started on the supposed 'prophecies'. There are so many reasons why they don't hold up as credible.
You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.
