My Jew Bestie came by this morning on his way from Alabama to Raleigh NC and we had breakfast together. I haven't seen him since April, so he tolerated me taking a selfie. 
My family life was not very good for a long time, and so my friends are basically my family. When one moves away like he did (he'll move closer in about a month) it's hard. We've both been through a lot in the last 6 months, so it was good hug and hold and have coffee together.
