The OP insinuated that all Christians hate homosexuals. Typical of the BS that I see here. You guys lumping us all together. If I said something all inclusive about atheists, the forum would unleash hell on me for doing so.
On a side note, it really ticks me off many in the forum are so biased and prejudiced against Christians. Many of you profess to be critical thinkers, rational and objective. How can you be objective when you are seething with malice and anger?
It's obvious that God has an opinion on the subject of homosexuality. His opinion is what will matter. That is my view. Whether you guys subscribe to it or not is entirely on you.
From my standpoint, if you are anti-Christian, which appears to be a better way to describe many here, I would recommend squeezing every ounce of gratification, pleasure, and fulfillment out of this life as possible. I am sure many here would agree but for different motivations.
Put aside the OP (because he's 12) and that's not necessarily the case here. Pete, I'm dating a Christian. I obviously don't generally hate Christians or think they are all anti-LGBT.
I will have to admit though, most of the hate I do receive comes from Christians. I'm not blaming all of them, but the issue is definitely clear.
Even if a Christian does not draw their own line in the sand, the book they read tells them that there is a god out there who does draw that line. I'm just glad that some Christians are able to stamp out that line entirely. I can live peacefully with them.
I am generally curious though. What's your take on what your god may or may not think of this issue?
I don't believe you. Get over it.
