Only the scum of the planet want 'equality', which is the least fair thin in existence.
That being said, some of us (like me) have a minimum standard for living humans. If there are people far and beyond that minimum whilst it continues to affect many people: the rich really won't miss that small amount it takes to raise the others up to the minimum.
